Please join our fall gathering for congregants and friends to commune along the Hudson River, taking in the foliage, running streams, wildlife, and beautiful specimen trees. Enjoy a nice, easy hike with church friends on wide and relatively smooth trails, suitable for kids, seniors, and every age in between.
Rockwood Hall State Park along the Hudson River
This 200-acre park is the former summer home of William Rockefeller.
We’ll meet at the church parking lot at 9:00am, and carpool together to the park. The park is about 35+ minutes away. Our Hike/Walk will be approximately 2 miles (go at your own pace) with grand views of the Hudson River, Mario Cuomo Bridge, NYC skyline, and The Palisades
Post stroll, we’ll celebrate with apple cider, donut holes, pumpkin bread, and orchard fresh apples hosted by FPCNC Congregational Life and plan to be back at the church by 12:15pm.
Our furry friends are welcome too if they are leashed and if they travel in their owners’ vehicles!
