United by our faith, we share life together, and invite you to do the same”

Membership

Visitors are always welcome, and membership inquirers’ classes are held on Sunday mornings following worship two times a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. In the class you will learn of our mission and vision, the activities and offerings of the church, the ways that you may use your gifts in service to others, and something of the history and beliefs of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The class is a prerequisite for membership, but all are welcome to attend whether or not they are presently considering membership.

On the Sundays when new members join, they will be received by the Session at 9:30am in the Common Room, will be welcomed at the 10:00am worship service, and then honored at a reception in the Common Room following worship.

New members’ folders with information about the church are available on the table in the front entrance way to the church and on the table in the Bliss House hallway. If you’d like us to contact you with more information about membership and/or the dates of our next inquirers’ class, please click here.

If you’d prefer to contact us, please email Linda Ferguson at LTFerg@optonline.net or Wendy Starr in the church office 203-966-0002 (ext. 1).

Pastoral Care

One of the most important responsibilities is the care of our members.

Our Pastors are on call for illness and emergencies at all times. Call the church office to schedule an appointment or let the pastoral staff know about a particular need. If you wish to speak with a pastor to schedule a baptism, wedding, funeral, or memorial service please contact the church office as well.

The Pastors regularly pray for members of the congregation, please call Rev. Mary Marple Thies (203-921-9434) directly with any situation in which they might offer support of any kind.
