Ash Wednesday Holy Communion Service – February 17 at 5 pm. The Lenten season is almost upon us! This year, our theme is “Liberating Lent.” Even though Lent will be a little different this year, FPCNC still has a lot planned to make this a meaningful Lent with opportunities for spiritual growth while we await the resurrection hope of Easter. In preparation for Lent, on Sunday, February 14th after worship, come by the church to pick up your “ashes to go” for our Ash Wednesday service which will be live-streamed, as well as Lenten devotionals and bags and grocery list for food pantry donations. Additionally, families will be able to pick up “Lent in a bag” activities full of crafts and activities for children to learn about Lent and participate in activities for the season before Easter.
