In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, New Canaan CARES, The Town of New Canaan, New Canaan Abuse Prevention Partnership, and Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) present: See Something, Say Something. Bystander Intervention for adults.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to safely intervene when they see or hear something problematic. Our presenters will introduce a number of different intervention strategies for bystanders. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice these strategies using scenarios addressing situations involving domestic violence, jokes about discrimination, and more. Leave with the tools & confidence to say something when you see something.
