Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree… Mark your calendars to come for FPCNC’s 2nd annual outside Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on the front lawn of the church on Sunday, November 28th. At 4pm we will have beverages, snacks, crafts and music to enjoy decorating the Christmas Tree in the Common Room. A donation table for the Dove program will be set up, as the purpose of this meeting is to remember especially at this time of year that “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” The tree that was planted last year will stay lit every night through Advent and into Christmastide as a reminder to the larger community of God’s faithfulness and love even in the most difficult of times. It is also a symbol to the whole community that “The lights are on!” at First Presbyterian Church. Plan to come for this brief celebration for the whole family!
