Action and Contemplation for Lent… Through Holy Week, we will be opening the sanctuary for members who sign up for a half-hour to spend time for prayer and meditation, using the labyrinth that will be set up in the sanctuary, or if you simply want to enjoy some quiet time sitting in the sanctuary, you are welcome. Some of you may choose to bring food donations for the local food pantry, and we will be collecting the food and praying both for ourselves and our larger community in our worship space. We believe prayer and service go together. There will be half-hour time slots each Tuesday from 12:30-2:30, Wednesday from 4:30–6:30, and Thursday from 12:30–2:30 each week through Holy Week. You must sign up for a slot by contacting Tina at tina@fpcnc.org and observe COVID-19 protocols at all times in the building. There will be a host in the Narthex to welcome you during these times.
