FELLOWSHIP & FAMILY FUN

Ongoing Events:

Some popular events from the past:

RALLY DAY – We kicked off our church calendar year with a picnic on the front lawn, big tent, bluegrass band, games, rides on Old Faithful and great food.

MANSE BBQ – Rev. Scott and Kim hosted families and their young children at the Manse with a BBQ, games, and ice cream.

SCOTTISH SUNDAY – Every year we celebrate Scottish Heritage Sunday with bagpipes during and after worship service, with a picnic, Scottish Dancers, and The Cèilidh (or Scottish Celebration) which immediately follows the Worship Service.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY AT THE MANSE – Rev. Scott and Kim invited the entire congregation to join them for an evening of caroling, dinner, and egg nog to ring in the season

ADVENT TREE LIGHTING, MUSIC & CRAFTS – All ages loved building gingerbread houses, singing around the Christmas tree and being together to celebrate advent.

FAMILY FRANKS & FOOTBALL – Rev. Scott and Kim invited the entire congregation to join them for an afternoon BBQ at the Manse for one of Scott’s world famous grilled-up Brats and a beverage.  There was lots of food, plenty of music outside, and football on TV inside!

PJs AND PANCAKES This is a fun family event in mid-winter!  See the FPCNC calendar for the date.

ICEBREAKERS – Break the ice and get to know fellow FPC members at an informal gathering at a host house. Guests will bring appetizers and something to drink to share. It’s a great way to meet people and to reconnect with friends. See the FPCNC calendar for our next Icebreaker

EASTER EGG HUNT – Bring a basket for hunting and your camera!

ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY BBQ  An Annual tradition for the Town of New Canaan, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger, with more rides, games, crafts, food and entertainment for the whole family.  This fantastic celebration helps us to continue to support the church and our mission.
