This Sunday is Stewardship Commitment Sunday, and while we can’t “walk forward” with our pledge cards, we can get into our cars after worship service and hand-deliver our pledges in a drive-through pledge commitment in the church parking lot! So, at 11:30, please come to the church and enter the main parking lot where an usher will direct you to the circle drive in front of the main entrance to the church. We will receive your pledges (or a symbolic envelope if you’ve already pledged online) at the front door porch and give each car a small gift package that will include some Advent goodies, recipes, and activities for the whole family. And here’s the fun part. Bring your own cup of coffee or hot chocolate and after we’ve all made our pledges, we’ll gather in the parking lot and enjoy some outdoor fellowship time together, including judging who has the “ugliest Christmas Sweater” of the year! The pandemic has been hard on us, but it won’t get the best of us! We will move forward safely distanced and masked, but with hope, peace, love, and joy. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday virtually for worship, but then live for our drive through pledge and ugly Christmas sweater fellowship hour!
