THE PRESBYTERIAN CHOIR SCHOOL OF NEW CANAAN

Spiritual development through the performing arts

CHERUB CHOIR (Two Sections) Pre-K-Grade 2

Sundays 11:15 – 11:45 AM, Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:15 PM

Children from Pre-K through grade 2 sing for our Sunday worship services throughout the year. The Cherub Choir sings faith-based songs introducing them to music fundamentals. Playing games, and a variety of instruments keep the fun going! Cherub Choir rehearses for a few weeks before singing for church. Sherry Tate directs this talented group. Contact her at sgtncct@optonline.net if you are interested in signing up your child!

CAROL CHOIR (Grades 3–7)

Sundays 11:15-11:45 AM

This choir consists of grades 3-7 and expands on the fundamentals of singing using the Kodaly and Orff methods of learning. Carol Choir learns how to be worship leaders and also sing with the FPC Adult Choir to give them the opportunity to sing more advanced music, and in a larger ensemble. Choir Choir rehearses after church from 11:15-11:45 for a few weeks before singing for church on Sunday morning. Contact Director of Music, Victoria Shields at victoria@fpcnc.org if your child is interested in singing!
